Super Bowl 2014

Some interesting early thoughts. The Super "bowl" takes on a new meaning this year on the heels of the legalization of recreational marijuana in Colorado. Remember what FDR once said: "In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way." Do you think politics and sports are separate? I'm not so sure.
Last year, 2013, the year of the trickster (13), the Ravens held off the 49ers in New Orleans. In many North American native traditions, the Raven is the symbol of the trickster. In Celtic and Druidic mythology, it signifies the void, the darkness from which all things emanate. Ravens are thought to be old, wise, and prophetic. After winning the Super Bowl last year, Terrell Suggs said, “We beat the future in Andrew Luck. We beat the past in Peyton Manning. We beat the present in Tom Brady. Then we beat the best show on offense in the NFL in the 49ers in Colin Kaepernick. The toughest road in these playoffs, we did it. We did it together.”  Do any of those teams sound familiar? This is just the beginning. Buckle up.
This year is 2014. Let's look at that. The sufferings of Christ began 14 days before Passover. In Egyptian mythology, Osiris was cut into 14 pieces, and 13 were found. Guess which part was not found. :-) There are 14 phalanxes on each of your hands. The fourteenth day is the middle of the lunar cycle. The name David in Hebrew has a numerical value of fourteen, as do the words hand, pride, despise, and gold. And then there is the fourteen word slogan coined by white supremacist David Lane, "We must secure the existence of our people, and a future for white children," and also, "because the beauty of the white Aryan woman must not perish from the earth." Search the number 14 and I'm sure you can come up with much more.
So what about the SeaHawks? What is a SeaHawk? It's another name for the Osprey, which is an animal associated with sun worship, a majestic bird of prey. They are clever, cunning, and relentless. They are excellent fisherman, and we are at or near the end of the age of Pisces. As a totem animal, the osprey can teach a person to go for their goals without fear. And without remorse.

It's also the name of a military helicopter, by the way. Isn't that interesting?

As a side note, I'm noticing Cam Newton being shown a lot, foreshadowing next year. Don't know what that means yet. Panthers?
And the Broncos. The wild stallions. Is this a throwback to Bill and Ted? Are the Wyld Stallyns to be tamed? Do they symbolize freedom? Sovereignty? I think maybe in their purest form, they do.

However, the Denver Bronco is far from the purest form. You only have to look at the evolution of the logo. And if you want to really be convinced, fly into the Denver International Airport, and behold the Wild Stallion standing in its front lawn.

Plenty of other "dark horse" symbolism around if you care to look. I would direct you to Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog, one of my favorites.
So what does this all mean? Am I stretching? Am I full of crap? I don't think so, but I'm me. I'll let my predictions stand on their own. You can watch, and judge for yourself whether you think you might be under manipulation.
In the next two weeks, watch closely. Look for the symbols. You will see the messages, and you may be able to predict who will win the game. What is certain, is that you will start to understand where we are headed once you find out who has been the predetermined winner.
Oh yeah, Feb 1, 2014 begins the Chinese year of the horse. Just sayin'.
